On June 13th, our Social Floor, in collaboration with Libro Aperto Festival, was transformed into a literary retreat for the very first Reading Party.
The idea behind the Reading Party originated with a group of friends in Brooklyn, with the aim of disconnecting from technology and rediscovering the pleasure of shared reading. It was inspiring to see how reading, despite being such a personal experience, can bring together different generations and genres.
The moments of sharing and discussion after the reading session were especially meaningful: for passionate readers, it was an opportunity to discover new authors and perspectives, while for those less accustomed to reading, it became a chance to appreciate the power of stories to connect and inspire.
