San Michele Complex
The San Michele Complex represents a fascinating restoration of the former San Michele Convent Complex. The origins of this historic building date back to around the year 1000, and it stands in the heart of Salerno’s historic center, just a short walk from the Santa Sofia Complex, near the ancient Cathedral walls and the city’s most important historic buildings.
Palazzo Innovazione – San Michele Complex is characterized by a series of small and large spaces set at different levels, interconnected by corridors and arched passageways. Inside, frescoes and valuable archaeological and architectural elements create a fascinating and evocative atmosphere, taking us back in time.
