For the first time at Palazzo Innovazione, the event “Body-Brain Waves” brought together researchers from around the world to discuss scientific innovation and the latest findings in the field of mind-body interactions.
During the first four days of the Summer School, each day was dedicated to the interaction between the brain and a different part of the body. The journey of Waves began by exploring the fascinating dialogue between the heart and the brain. The second day focused on eye movements — saccadic and microsaccadic — and brain activity. The third day was dedicated to the respiratory system and its interaction with brain activity. On the fourth and final day of the Summer School, the focus was on the surprising connection between the brain and the gut, often referred to as our “second brain.”
The final two days, dedicated to the Symposium, further strengthened participants’ knowledge, offering a unique in-depth experience in the field of neuroscience.
